A few days after running the Black Canyon 100k in 2023, I went back to the trail near Black Canyon City, and spent some quiet time soaking in the landscape. I took reference photos and made sketches. I made sure to include in this print some of what made the landscape so iconic in my memory. Some of the key elements of February in the Sonoran Desert.
