"October Mountain Stream" Reduction Print

8-color, 2-block reduction print of a mountain stream in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.

Inspired by a moment at the end of a long mountain run, when the sunshine of an October day has you feeling just warm enough, and the water runs clear enough, that you can't resist a dip! For those less keen on these chilly mountain waters, a nice foot soak could be enough. :)

Paper size 14x18", image size 11x14". Limited, numbered, signed edition of 40 prints. Ships rolled in a rigid square tube.

I carved and printed this in the third trimester of my pregnancy. It was unusually tough to wrap my head around, and I made some bold choices, but overall I'm happy with how it turned out, as my biggest reduction print to date.
