"Mama Judy's Orchids" Linocut Reduction Print

As a little girl, I felt like I could get lost in my grandmother's greenhouse. It was always filled with orchids, and you could wander through the bizarre draping tendrils of roots of these gorgeous tropical flowers that, by some strange twist of nature, don't need soil to grow.

This 6-layer reduction print portrays a bright pink Vanda, one of my grandmother's (known to us grandchildren as Mama Judy) favorite types of orchids.
